NOGA Coaches Excel at College Championships . . .

During November, NOGA coaches were instrumental in coaching multiple college soccer programs to a number of conference championships and finals.

At Hofstra University NOGA staff Richard Nuttall and Gary Book lead the team to record breaking third straight CAA Championship by defeating Old Dominion University in the semi-final and George Mason University in the final.

Not to be out done, Marc Reeves the Associate Head Coach at St. John's University, helped mastermind the Red Storm's seventh BIG EAST conference championship. The Storm defeated Providence College in the semi-final and West Virginia University in the final. NOGA coach Gary Book was an integral part of all St. John's other six BIG EAST championships before moving to Hofstra.

NOGA's relationship with success at the college level does not stop there. Paul McGinlay, the Head Coach at Trinty University in Texas is yet another NOGA original. Trinity once again won the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship and is presently ranked the number one team in Division Three.

NOGA alumnus Neil Cunningham, the Head Coach of the Women's program at Washington and Lee University, took his team all the way to the finals of the ODAC Champions where they were unlucky to lose 1-0 to Virginia Wesleyan.

Scott McBride, the Assistant Coach at Bridgeport University Women's program also made the East Coast Conference Women's Soccer Championship Finals only to see his team lose 5-4 on penalties to Adelphi University.

In addition, Ian Stone at St. John's University (Women), Simon Riddiough at Hofstra University (Women), Greg Ashton at Davidson University (Women), Drayson Hounsome at CW Post University (Women) all displayed the high qualities of a NOGA coach with outstanding performances.

How To Have NOGA Train Your Team . . .

In the late 1970's NOGA's foresight and innovation in providing high quality professional soccer coaches for clubs and teams completely changed the landscape of American Youth soccer.

Such is the success of this program that each season there is far more requests for NOGA coaches to work with clubs and teams than we can ever possibly hope to fulfil.

Returning clubs and teams are given priority access to the NOGA Trainers but if you would like to have NOGA work with your club or team. Please contact David Stapleton at (516) 489-3900 Ext. 113 if you have any questions regarding NOGA coaching services or staff availability.
